NW Washington

On one day of our trip to Seattle, we left the city and headed north towards Canada, which is not that far anyway. We detoured off the highway onto Chuckanut Drive. It was a scenic trip with some excellent stops along the way.

Mount Rainier

The majestic, snow covered and rugged Mt. Rainier. The Cascade Mountains, snowy peaks of northwest Washington. Complete with its visible glaciers and deep snow. Did I mention it's July? Bring a coat up here!
